About the project
Музыкально-поэтическое содружество НЕВЫСОКИЙ СЛОГ brings together poetry and music without forcing every text into the same sound. The words determine the pace, form and emotional scale of each composition.
The repertoire may include original texts, poetic translations and works inspired by different literary voices. Some pieces call for a restrained song form, others for a more theatrical, intimate or narrative approach.
The project treats the poem not as decoration but as the centre of the musical decision. Melody, rhythm and arrangement are chosen to reveal the text, preserve its tone and give it a new life in sound.

НЕВЫСОКИЙ СЛОГ is deliberately open to different musical forms. What unites the repertoire is careful attention to language, meaning, intonation and the inner rhythm of the words.
